Farmers Markets, Charter and Artisan Markets and Public Events

Not only do we do bespoke events, but we also attend local Markets and other local events where you can purchase our delicious slow roasted pork to eat there and then or take home.

We serve our slow roasted pork with apple sauce and stuffing onto a white or wholemeal bread bun with a wide range of condiments. If you don’t want a bun no problem – we can place the pork into a foil tray to eat on the go or take home. We have many customers who purchase our pork to take home for a roast dinner, to make a stir fry, or their own sausage rolls.

Please bear in mind that we may NOT be able to attend due to the weather, or an alternative one of event on the same day. We don’t make the decision not to attend a market lightly, but sometimes the weather can make it unsafe, or not viable – due to the nature of what we do we have to make this decision BEFORE we start cooking so we have to make a decision about 15 hours before the market starts based on the forecast that can often be wrong.

Farmers Market

• Kendal Farmers Market

The second and last Friday of every month – Market Square, Kendal.

We also go on tour to Rheged three times a year – April, July, November – Rheged Discovery Centre, Redhills, Penrith.

• Lancaster University Student Union Farmers Market

During terms time Lancaster University Student Union run a Farmer’s Market on a Thursday in Alexander Square. We are proud to be the longest attendee of this market, and currently, the only farmer. We are not there every week as they run a rota for hot food so, please check first.

Charter Markets

• Lancaster Charter Market

Every Wednesday and Saturday – Market Square, Lancaster. We are proud to be the one of the four longest attendees of this market.

• Kirkby Lonsdale Charter Market

Every Thursday – Market Square, Kirkby Lonsdale. We are very proud to be the longest attendee of this market that takes place in our home town.

• Sedbergh Artisan Market

This market runs once a month in the hopefully better weather months of May to September.
