All our produce is lovingly cared for from being reared, right through to being delivered to your doorstep.
We have been producing quality meat for generations and are renowned locally and afar for giving consistent quality and taste no matter what product you purchase.
We have worked hard to embrace new farming methods whilst still retaining a traditional approach to our animals and farming ways. This, combined with a deep routed passion in all our family for farming is what makes us stand out from the rest.

What is the difference between your website prices and the market stall?
Nothing. We have priced all our products the same on the website as the market stall. The only additional price will be the delivery charge - if you have chosen courier delivery, and your order is under £80.
Can I order by telephone?
Yes. If you would prefer to place an order over the telephone, then please give us a call on: 015242 71397. As a family run business Jim, Wendy, Simon or Amanda will be happy to answer any queries you have, and take your order. If we are unable to take your call please leave a message with your name and phone number only and we will return your call as soon as possible.
What happens once I have placed my order?
Once you have placed your order we will contact you by email to confirm your order. As part of our personal service we do not send orders out without contacting you first to confirm a delivery or collection date, and any delivery instructions.
When we contact you to arrange delivery please provide us with instructions where we can securely leave the parcel if you are not going to be at home when the courier arrives, i.e. with a neighbour, in the garage or porch etc. Alternatively, by prior arrangement we can deliver to your work address if that is more convenient for you. It is also useful to provide the delivery driver with directions if you are in a more remote area. To assist our courier we do provide them with your contact number in case they need to contact you regarding delivery.
Due to the fresh nature of the products we cannot accept returns or refund purchases when our courier is unable to deliver in the event that no one is available to accept the order, and no alternative delivery instructions have been made by you. The parcel will be returned to the depot and you must arrange collection.
Collect from us at the market stall in Kirkby Lonsdale Market Square (every Thursday 8.am to 2pm), Lancaster Market Square (every Wednesday and Saturday 8am to 3.30pm), Lancaster University (every Thursday in term time 10am to 4pm.) To use this facility we must receive your order no later than 01.00 am the day before the chosen collection day. There is no charge for this option. Please bring your cool bag.
