NEWS FROM MANSERGH HALL ORGANIC FARM
We are coming to Kirkby Lonsdale, every Thursday in the Market
Square. First day Thursday 14th February 2008 Come and see us. We
will have a range of our organic meat for sale as well as organic
milk and free-range eggs. Also, for every purchase made at the
market for the next 6 months 5% will be donated by us to Kirkby
Lonsdale Play Partnership. Kirkby Lonsdale Play Partnership has been
established to upgrade the outdoor play facilities for children and
young people on the town playing field. This is an important
facility in the town for local families and visitors alike.
Don't forget we do a local home delivery service every Friday in
our own refrigerated van. You select whatever you would like
including: Organic Meat, boxes of organic fruit and vegetables,
organic milk, eggs, and we hope to expand the range in 2008. You
could start a standing order or have a different order whenever you

Fairtrade Fortnight - 25th February until 9th March.
Kirkby Lonsdale became a Fairtrade Town in March 2007 - and is
celebrating its first anniversary this year. They support Fair Trade
for Local Producers and Fairtrade producers overseas. Saturday 9th
March - FAIRTRADE COFFEE MORNING - at the Methodist Hall, Kirkby
Lonsdale, from 10.30 - 12 noon.
Lambing starts in March so all our sheep are now housed in our
purpose built lambing shed out of the elements. They can be kept an
eye on and this enables the new born lambs to have the best start in
life. |
