Mansergh Hall Organically Reared Lamb

Many years of carefully breeding Texel Cross North Country Cheviot ewes with Texel rams have gone into what is unbeatable lean, tender, succulent organically reared lamb. Lamb of uncompromising quality with a wonderful flavour you will not forget.


Mansergh Hall is farmed by James and Jim Hadwin to Soil Association organic standards.

To further reduce stress on our animals they are taken personally by Jim to a small Soil Association abattoir only 20 miles from the farm. We then collect the meat ourselves and transport back to our butchery ensuring complete traceability.
Mansergh Hall Lamb is known for its fantastic flavour and consistent quality.

The lamb is then hung to mature in our cold room for a minimum of 7 to 10 days. Simon then cuts the meat to our customer’s specifications.

A favourite choice for roasting offering lean and succulent meat. Roast it fast and serve pink, or roast it slow and serve it falling off the bone.

Shoulder on the bone - Whole or half

Shoulder provides the very sweetest and juiciest roast lamb of all. Give it a slightly longer, slower roast than you would a leg. Delicious slow roasted till the meat is falling off the bone and then served with seasonal organic vegetables with gravy and an onion sauce - Amanda's favourite.

Leg steaks

These lean flavoursome steaks are simply sliced from boned out leg and are ideal for frying, grilling, cooking in the oven and barbecuing. Delicious fried in a garlic butter with mushrooms, served with minted new potatoes and seasonal vegetables.

Chump steaks

Chump steaks tend to have a little more fat than leg steaks and have a slightly sweeter flavour. They are ideal for frying, grilling, oven cooking, barbequing and using is extra special casserole dishes.

Lamb Cutlets
