| Organic Box Scheme
In December
and January we have delivered leaflets to Rigmaden,
Barbon, Casterton, Cowan Bridge, Leck, Burrow,
Tunstall and Wrayton, and have received lots
of interest to date. Now we’re into February
we will continue to drop leaflets to the rest
of our delivery areas.
For those of you that aren’t familiar with
the scheme the idea is that you select what
you would like from our list of organic products.
Products range from organic meats, organic fruit
and veg, organic milk and organic soup. We deliver
the products to you in a re-useable insulated
box on a Friday between 10 am and 6 pm. It could
be a regular delivery of the same products or
you can change it to suit your needs. You could
have a delivery once a week, every two weeks,
or once a month, even once every quarter. The
choice is yours.

News From The Farm
Petunia a Saddleback sow had 7 piglets on
January 22nd. Unfortunately despite James’ care
and attention, one was too small to survive
but all the others are thriving. Because the
weather was just too wet all the pigs are now
housed indoors . They are in a specially converted
building with plenty of room to run about.
All our breeding ewes have been scanned to
check for lamb numbers and are now housed for
winter ready for lambing.
Lambing starts on the 18th March so watch
out for 2 tired looking farmers very soon.!
