| Zaytoun Fairtrade Olive Oil
(500ml) Zaytoun olive oil comes from
the home of the olive tree, in
Palestine. It is an artisan extra-virgin
oil, from olives which are hand-picked
and pressed the same day.
The oil is a lush green in colour,
with a distinct peppery finish. It’s
great with salads, new potatoes and
greens, or just for dipping bread. For
extra authenticity, try it with our
Palestinian “za’atar” – a traditional
herb mix of sumac, toasted sesame seeds,
wild thyme and salt, as a dip for
toasted pita, or a rub on grilled
vegetables. |
